Raj Budget ’16 allocates 4.13 crores to make Govt offices Accessible: AHSAAS

Jaipur: In order to make public places accessible for Specially abled persons Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje announced allocation of Rs 4.13 crores for the construction of lifts, ramps and handrail. Also specially-abled will now be provide assistance in self-employment after Govt allocated Rs 6 crore for the same. For the same a NGO running special schools will get subsidy of Rs 6.66 crore which will in return will make the schools financially strong.

 

Reserved Seats in Cinema and Multiplex:
In Cinema and theatre and Multiplexes there will be special seats reserved for PWDS as State has also made a reservation of 3% seats in cinema halls and multiplexes for specially-abled in the state. In addition to this a grant of Rs 171 crore has been allocated for orphans in the state. Due to this 1.50 lakh grant children living in different orphanages of Rajasthan will be benefited.
