Jaipur: Citizens of Jaipur and those visiting the city have endorsed Ahsaas campaign focusing on the hurdles faced by people with disability (PWD) in smooth mobility at public places and key government offices. The campaign run by Rajasthan Patrika – Media Action Group (MAG) is raising the ACCESSIBILITY issue in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh for the PWDs.


PRIME MINISTER Narendra Modi also launched ACCESSIBLE INDIA campaign on 3rd December, World Disability day and on 27th December he proposes in his Radio Talk (Mann ki Baat to rethink the terms used to address Disabled People seeing their Abilities and using better terms viz DIVYAANG instead of VIKALAANG for their feeble part of the body.

People at different spots of JAIPUR CITY felt excited to support the campaign whenAhsaas Volunteers interacted with them at key tourist places, Bus Stands, Railway Station, Colleges and markets of Pink City. People joined the signature campaign and expressed their concern to work to realize the dream of Accessible India.
