Sikar: A Mumbai based Private Company is all set to improve the infrastructure of 80 Govt schools in Rajathan. The company aims to spread the concept digital India by bringing facilities like projectors, computer lab etc to the schools that are technologically remote.
According to an MOU signed between the company and Govt in 2014 , it was decided that the company will adopt atleast 1,000 Govt schools in India and will make them Technically sound. However at present 80 schools have been shortlisted from Rajasthan. These schools will be provided projectors and pen drives.
Teachers of these schools will be imparted a separate training session. Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan is also assisting in the shortlisting of schools in each district. As of now 80 shortlisted schools are from laxmangarh, Fatehpur, Dhod, Neem Ka Thana, Peprali, Sawai Madhopur and two Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya.
