Laado Chaupaal is an initiative of Patrika-MAG and is framed to build a two way communication between women and govt officials. It provides a platform to women to express their concerns and issues directly to the authorities and public representatives who are responsible to address their problems.
In this series of informal gathering, Mag organized its first “Night Laado Chaupaal” at Amar Jawan Jyoti, which witnessed a large number of women and girl participants from different colleges of Jaipur. The chaupaal focused on women safety and happiness. Suman Sharma, Chairperson of Rajasthan State Women Commission, kunwar Rashtradeep, D.C.P (east) Police Commissionerate, jaipur and Manan Chaturvedi, Chairperson-State Child Rights Protection answered questions and also shared their views. One of the highlights of laado chaupaal was the National Anthem in Sign Language by deaf and mute students of Anandi Lal Poddar School. It is another first of its kind initiative by MAG which focuses on strengthening the bond of unity and inclusion. These students also asked question and expressed their views with the help of interpreter.
