Lack of teachers, dispensary bothers women folk: LAADO Chaupal

Jaipur: Pending Bhamasha cards, non availability of Ration, lack of teachers, contaminated water etc were a few issues raised by localities living at Hasanpura during Laado Chaupal held at Hasan Pura C Block at Fateh Nagar Park. In this informal discussion which witnessed a huge number of Muslim Women and girls many issues were addressed by a expert panel which included Rajasthan Women’s Commission head Suman Sharma, Beti Padhao Beti Bachao incharge RajKumari Hada, Education and welfare officers, local Councillor , police officer and several social workers .
Poor medical facilities and contaminated water running in the taps was the primary issue faced by the people who gathered. Complains such as delay in arriving of Bhamasha card and many others were also recorded. Localities brought in the notice of Councilor Laxman Das Morani regarding the lack of Urdu teachers in the nearby Madrasa due to which students are forced to switch to Sanskrit after class 6th. Suman Sharma Women’s Commission Chairperson also briefed the ladies regarding their rights and welfare schemes.
