Jaipur: Bhupendra Meena, a resident of Karauli, who lost both his arms is not only a victim of road accident but distressed due to poor response of government machinery and hospital authorities. For Bhupendra the only support is his poor old father who earns is livelihood as farmer. Since 2013 Bhupendra’s father is trying his best to put his son undef a proper treatment but the estimated cost of 18 lakh rupees is beyond their reach.
Even the Bhamasha card is extending no help to the family despite being a fact that they belong to a BPL family. Later a committee formed on the directions of health minister sought a report. The report suggests that artificial limb is the only option which will cost Rs 8 Lakh. Health Minister has also agreed to bear 40 percent of total costing.
