Bhopal: One can overcome Disability if there is a strong Desire to excel, believes Vaishali Patil, 10th class student, who scored 71 percent in class 10th examination despite losing her one limb. Vaishali developed a chronic disease in her limbs after which doctors advised her to undergo an operation and ultimately one of her limbs was completely removed.
She stayed indoors for another six months after the tragic loss. Despite of seeking help from so many doors, his father received nothing but only disappointment. According to Vaishali, Bhopal’s Social group Bhopal Jan Sewa Samiti came forward with an artificial limb that eased her pain. For Vaishali and her family this social group is Godlike and gave her a new life.
Govt fails to extend Support:
However she held Government responsible for not providing help in time due to which she had to sit idle at home. Another student Pranav, living in Mother Dairy Ashram, an orphanage situated in Nehru Nagar has also started living a normal life after getting an artificial limb.
